Debrie Parvo 35mm hand cranked motion picture camera
There is on this sale. If you offer a dollar and it\'s the high offer at the end of the sale it\'s yours.
Quite possibly the best available DeBrie camera I have everseen. It is in shooting condition with a very clean lens. The iris is smooththroughout it’s range. The lens is an ultra clean 3 inch Goerz Apogor f2.3 withno visible rubbing marks on the front or rear element. There are a couple oftiny dark specks that could be little flecks of carbon in the glass or tinypaint flecks that would be easily removed with an internal cleaning. They won’thave any effect on the image quality. It focuses correctly. I see this lens for sale on the internet from $3,000 to $4,500. Look it up for yourselves.
There is a chip out of the crank handle. It’s not much of anissue.
The camera cranks smoothly and easily. The Nickel plating isbeautiful as is the whole camera. It has fade in and fade out capability. Youcan shoot overlapping dissolves in camera. If you want to shoot hand crankedfilm this is the most reliable camera to do it with.
The camera is made in France by Andre DeBrie and wasdesigned for the USA. It was imported to the U.S by the Motion PictureApparatus Company in New York.
It’s in astounding condition for being around a hundred yearsold. I can’t date it exactly but it is from just before or just after World WarOne.
The footage counter and the frames per second counter are inworking condition. I have oiled the camera with high quality clock oil so it isready to shoot.
Shipping depends on where in the world you are. I will onlycharge the exact shipping costs. wants a shipping cost so I will put a $60shipping cost on the sale. The camera is heavy. It’ll be more to Europe. Iship using the US Post Office Priority mail.Pleaseallow additional time if international delivery is subject to customsprocessing. If you are in China or Japan please contact me before offerding.

Critical focusing is done through the eyepiece on the rear of the camera. You just put a piece of ground film in the gate and actually focus on the film. You know the camera is in focus for sure as you actually focus on the film plane. You can buy film from Kodak in L.A.
