The motor on this dozer runs excellant, I had it rebuilt a few years ago and have since put about 50hrs or less on it. Starts right up and is good and strong, no weird things going on with it.I am selling it because it does need some work on the undercarriageand winch. The bushings on the pins of the track are pretty much shot as you can see from the pictures.( I have been running it this way for a while, it will move the dozer but when under too much pressure it will jump on the sprocket that drives the track.)The winch when it was working has pulled trees over with no problem. I think it has to do with not having enough hydraulic pressure to it. It moves slightly when you engage it, so it is getting drive from theptoin the rear where it is attached.Also, after running for about 10 min. or so and you begin to push something the dozer wants to slowly stop moving. The engine at this time and still running just fine. Again I was told it may have something to do with thehydrooil pressure.I considered making the repairs needed but don't have the time. (plus, has been replace by the New Holland on the right)I also have the Service and Technical manuals to go with it for 50.00
Would make a niceprojectdozer since most if not all the parts are available to buy and not as expensive as the bigger dozers out there.This model dozer is an excellant size for small to medium duty projects.Can be hauled with a pick up truck and trailer since it weighs under 10k.It is located in Titusville, PA for pick up. (about an hour south of Erie, PA and 2 1/4 hrs from - Pittsburgh, Buffalo, or Cleveland.)Can help arrange for delivery if not too far.

Also added on 10/22/2016 -According to this web site - http://www.jdcrawlers.com/My serial number of "199275T" tells me that it is a 1974.I don't know what the T means though.
