Up for sale is this Rare Dr. J. HOSTETTER\'S Stomach Bitters killer Yellow Amber. bottle measures 9 in. tall by 2 and 3 quarter inches. Embossed Dr. J. HOSTETTER\'S Stomach Bitters. The color is a awesome Yellow Amber . has some light cloudiness on one panel but not bad. at the base it has a capital P as you can see in photo. There are mold lines in the Glass, this was made when the bottle was blown. The Name is Straw Marks or Lines: Straw marks are hair fine wavy lines on the surface of the bottle (and/or neck and base) glass that can be alone or in patterns. These very fine lines are physically \"etched\" (for want of a better term) into the glass surface and can be felt as a sharp \"tick\" or \"catch\" when running ones fingernail across the surface. the best way I can describe it is showing you on another bottle what it looks like. and if you look closely you can see it on one of the pictures of my bottle. I was told that it adds character to the Bottle. this is a blob top bottle. There is a tiny chip on one of the edges you can see my finger pointing at it. There is a few minor scratches , This bottle is in excellent condition > No cracks , no chips, no repairs, no open bubbles. S/H is 12.50 if it is more than that then I will pick up the cost.
