“Eagle” project was started in 2001 by aviationengineer and aircraft designer with about 20 years of experience in hanggliderand ultralight building and flying. It is created especially for easy building fromdrafts and kits. Three prototypes: solo soaring, universal easy converted 1-2placer for 2-stroke engine, and especially designed for auto GEO-Suzuki 1literconverted engine trikes are made and tested. Air Trikes Enterprises Canadahas started commercial production of kits, chassis and ready to flytrikes.

“Eagle” designhas some advantages comparatively with trikes existing in the North Americanmarket. Strong classical European-style triangle structure of the rearsuspension, shock-absorbers for all wheels, low position of pilotsmaketakeoff-landing and ground runmorestable and safe. Compactlayout provides excellent aerodynamics and keeps enough space that allows theinstallation of BRS, extra fuel, or luggage behind the pilot withoutaerodynamic penalties. Folded mast makes the wing installation quick and easyeven for one person. Possibility to make and use it as a mono (legal FAR-103ultralight), two-seater, usingdifferent wings, engines, gas tanks, wheels etc., it is adjustable to allyour wishes. Standard components from the US market (6061T6 tubes,sheet metal, stainless bolts and lock nuts), affordable hand-tool technology,only 1-2 steel welded parts (front fork and GEO mount) well thought-out design allowto modify, repair, or easy built it at home from plans. High weight efficiency.
