Formally speaking, the Heaths began their wonderful \"bottle and glass hunt\" in 1966 when they answered an invitation to what would unexpectedly turn out to be the charter meeting of the New England Bottle Club! The very next weekend, Bob would dig the \"charter\" bottle (a deep green pepper sauce) of their collection at his parents farm in Union! During the following nearly 30 years, there would be many \"treasures\" found, as the Heaths built their well known collection through local and distant sales, bottle and antique shows as well as buying directly from local pickers and antique dealers.
