Amazing Native American museum quality war club. Mid to late 1800\'s, eastern Sioux or Great Lakes Iroquois. The great carved face, even has carved facialtattoos. Wonderful dry original finish with remnants of red dye paint. Great file branding and early brass tack details. Brass tacks are also used for the eyes. Out of round hole for a wrist strap. Carved black walnut, very sturdy piece. Measures 25\" long and the head is 5\" wide not including the 3\" spike. See my other items from the same old collection.
