These Peretti candle holders were purchased at the flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York in the 1990\'s. They are signed on the base \"Tiffany and Co\". and also have the Peretti signature etched on the base. Each candlestick holder measures 9 ins. top to bottom and three and a quarter inches side to side at the widest part of the base. They measure 3.5 ins. from front to back of the base. The opening for the candle is roughly three-quarters of an inch. I would use mini-tapers. A standard candle won\'t fit without a bit of shaving.You can\'t equal the sensuousness of the design and the feel of these candle holders...they are an art piece as much as they are functional item to dress your dining table.You won\'t find these candle holders like this anywhere else on . I know. I checked...lol! These items have been discontinued. Tiffany no longer offers them in anything but sterling and the price is in the thousands.I have two additional sets that my husband and I use quite frequently. They absolutely make a table setting!!I have dropped my price here. Won\'t drop it again. Price is rock solid. Please note...several of the pictures show the blue Tiffany label near the base. That pair has been sold. The remaining ones are in the same condition minus the label.
