EMPEROR Carriage Clock w/Franz Hermle Westminster Chime (Germany) For Sale

This very nice Emperor carriage clock comes from an Alabama estate. According to the label attached to the rear cover it was manufactured in Fairhope, Alabama and the German-made Hermle movement indicates the year of manufacture as 1978. The clock runs well and the moon dial appears to work properly. It includes a brass key, keeps excellent time and the chimes are accurate with a nice, elegant sound. This clock is heavy for its size, over 13 pounds. The case is clean and in exceptional condition for its age with very few minor nicks and/or imperfections. It stands about 15 1/2\" tall by 13 1/2\" wide and 6 1/2\" deep.
