This action is for Empire State 5x7/4x5 Large Format View Camera in Excellent- Condition for its age. Serial Number is 47. Bellows are a little stiff but when check with a flash light, I did not see any light leaks. However, it looks like the bellows had corner patches at one time, which indicates there might be light leaks. So, to be on the safe side, let\'s assume there are light leaks. With the bed extension, the bellows extend to 23-inches.
Comes with two (2) 5\"x7\" film holders. One has been converted to 4\"x5\" with the use of Kodak 4x5 Cut Film Sheaths (has two - one for each side). 5\"x7\" ground glass has been marked for the 4\"x5\" area.
Lens is a Gundlach 5x7 Radar Anast. f/4.5 lens set in a Betax No. 4 shutter. Serial number is 204448. Lens is inexcellent cosmetic condition showingminimal signs of wear.Glass is clean and clear but has some very light cleaning marks on the rear elements.However theshutter speeds are not consistent. B & T work fine but it seems that it onlyhas one speed when set on the individual times.Diaphragm blades operate smoothly and are free of oil.
Because I have not tested this camera with film, I am selling it \"AS IS\" - no returns or refunds.
