For sale is this beautiful complete and original very rare electric Marusan Kosuge Ford sunliner, or Fairlane, a vintage made in japan toy from the fifties in incredible condition..
Only the plastic windscreens have been replaced by former owner, and there is a copper tab broken off in the battery hood.
The car functions with all the lights going but for one headlight.
Probably a lose contact. The car goes forward and back when moving the large switch on the underside.
I did never open this car at least.
Also the threads on the rubber wheels are stiil in good shape.
Some minor spidering on the black bottom plate.

This is one of two cars left from my own collection.
Gradually i sold or traded the others and stopped collecting for years ago..
This car was always my favourite and rarest so i kept it till now.
I traded it about 15 years ago from the owner, who wanted to sell it.
He told me this:
The Marusan Ford was bought from a american woman who had bought the real Ford Fairlane himself in the USA in the fifties and got this toy car with it.
She moved to the netherlands and kept this car wrapped in a towl for many years in a carton box.
Although it has some spidering and some little damage on the rear lights,it just looks as new to me
Also there is slight corrosion in the edges of the batery box because of long storement with batteries in the compartment i think.
