Franklin Mint Lost in Space The Classic Series B-9 Robot Limited Edition1998 For Sale

This acution is foror aFranklin Mint Heirloom Collectible Sculpture of the B-9 Robot from the Classic TV Series,Lost in Space. This item comes with the glass dome dust cover. This is aLimited Editionand isHand Painted, & Numbered. The colorful rock formation, in the background, is made from a cold castResinmaterial. Franklin Mint produced these in 1998 and limited the run to95 Days. The robot is hand assembled, and the detailing is absolutely spectacular. As you can see, in picture #4, the Resin rock formation, as seen from the back side, was realistically done, with many color variations. The robot is inBrand New Condition but I do not have original box, and the lights, and the voice chip, work perfectly. The voice is loud and clear. When the button on the underside of the base is pressed, the following phrases can be heard:

\"Alpha Control! Come in Alpha Control! This is the Robot. We appear to be Lost in Space. Please help.Danger Will Robinson! Danger! Censors indicate an alien intruder! Warning! Warning\". As the words are spoken, aREDLED light, behind the Acrylic chest on the robot, flashes. The voice of the robot is the same voice that was in the series,actor Dick Tufeld. The base, that the robot sits on, is reminiscent of Will Robinson\'s ship,the Jupiter-2. The Robot Takes Three AA batteries, which are included. With the glass dome on, the sculpture measures 8 inches in height. The number of this piece, can be found underneath the base, as well as the voice / light activation button.
