French Art Deco RAOUL LACHENAL Ceramic Pottery Guan Volcanic Glaze Oriental Vase For Sale

Up for sale is a fine Art Deco vase of monumental proportions by French ceramicist Raoul Lachenal. This is the largest piece in this ovoid jar form he made. Styled in the oriental Ming form it has a stunning turquoise guan crackle glaze withheavy drips, volcanic dimples and bubbles. The coloris a rich turquoise with high fireluster in person. I could not get my camera to capture the exact color. It measures 15\" tall x 10 1/2\" wide and weighs 11 pounds 1.2 ounces. It is in beautiful original condition. There is glaze pops and one spot at the bottom edge missing some glaze which is original to firing. This piece is fresh out of a fine old estate collection and not to be missed.
