GE 6\" Brass Blade Fan, Single Speed, Original Paint, Runs Well, Excellent Cond. For Sale

GE 6\" brass blade desk fan, c.1924, in excellentand, I believe, original condition. The power cord is probably new with the old hard rubber plug. This tiny fan is a real cutie with its solid stamped brass blade and is in excellent running condition with a single speed. Guard is in excellent condition too as are the brushes and brush springs showing almost no wear. The commutator is in very good condition as well and has been cleaned. The motor and base are both made of stamped steel and there is no pot metal on these fans. This is GE\'s only 6\" desk fan and one of the few 6\" fans ever made with a brass blade.
The motor is rated for 110 volts, AC or DC although it will run fine on our slightly higher household current and is 8\" tall, 7\" wide and 5\" deep. The fan was oiled and run for 20 minutes to see if there were any problems which there were none. The motor got no hotter than the normal gently warm. The blade runs straight and true but might betweaked a tiny bit to eliminate some very minor vibration.
Packing: I have experience in proper packing of antique fans. The fan will be packed in a sturdy box and packedtightly so it will not move around in transit.
