This is for afabulous original German art nouveau silvered pewter desktop pen tray. The tray has a clear impression of a lady with long flowing hair and she is holding a feather dip pen. The image is signed WH and the base of the tray is numbered 4621 with the makers initials BG \'Imperial\'. Imperial Zinn were a German foundry that Peter Bitter and Kaufmann Wilhelm Gobbers opened in 1900 and closed their doors around 1910. The tray stands on its original ball feetand itis in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere. It measures179mm (7\") by75mm (3\").
