GERMAN IMPERIAL WORLD WAR I DER STAHLHELM ORTSGRUPPE GLATZ FLAG CARRYING GORGET For Sale

German Imperial World War I Der Stahlhelm Ortsgruppe Glatz Flag Carrying Gorget.  The dimensions are 6 1/2" in length and 2 3/4" in width.  This gorget is of a three piece bronze with green and silver paint and green wool construction.  It features a German helmet in the center with "Der Stahlhelm" inscribed on it, and mounted onto a green and silver painted background which consists of four flags with flag poles and portapees with an oak leaf a border.  In the middle that says "ORTSGRUPPE GLATZ"on it. The background is mounted a silver painted shield and their are two green and silver painted bosses present one on each upper corner of  the shield.  The reverse shows a green wool backing and two mounting prongs present.  This gorget is in very good plus condition showing signs of silver loss to the high relief areas and edges of the gorget.
