Last week saw a collection of old enamel advertising signs some of which proved to be quite valuable and this week sees ever more weird and wonderful stuff from fathers garage!!
So, this sale is for what we think to be a piece from a WW2 era German aircraft - obviously it\'s impossible for us to be sure of the era but it would fit with dad\'s collecting of wartime RAF items and uniforms. It looks to have been fairly roughly cut out and shows a large German cross on possibly a camouflaged background (quite surprised to see red paint included but looking more closely perhaps this was a base layer?). The piece is surprisingly light given its size so we assume it is aluminium or something similar. We have tried to take some detailed shots which hopefully will help people decide exactly what this is, roughly from when and perhaps what it might have been a part of..
Measures approximately 82cm by 62cm. Weighs just under 1.8kg but with protective packing will be over 2kg when posted.
Condition is exactly as photographed.
Please note this item will not be available for collection from Northamptonshire as the house has been sold. It is currently located in Central London.

We have had a note from a Czech collector to say that a very devious individual has copied the pictures from our sale and is attempting to convince specialist collectors to purchase this item outside of - please be aware this item is unique to us and this sale! It can only be secured via offerding and winning this sale and it is not for sale elsewhere and nor has it ever been.Very sadly it seems the gentleman who contacted us has already been taken in by this scam and has unfortunately paid a good deal of money for something he now understands he will not receive!!
