GORGEOUS Antique National 2 Spool Sewing Machine w/ Case + Accessories I don\'t really know anything about this brand of sewing machine but I saw it online to be sold at an sale and researched it, bought it and here it is for sale. This is an antique National 2 spool sewing machine. From the photos that I have found online of this model, this one is exceptional! Actually, it is exceptional for any sewing machine with this age! Please look at the photos carefully and consider them as part of the description.The gold decals are SUPERB!! I\'d give them a 99, they are gorgeous throughout the whole machine! I have merely wiped this machine off and there really wasn\'t much to wipe off. You are pretty much seeing it as I found it. It has that little canister bobbin case as shown. I haven\'t attempted to remove it. Wouldn\'t even know how if it isn\'t a Singer. ;) The machine is very smooth when you turn the handwheel. Absolutely NO binding, you can turn the wheel and the needle goes up and down for a few seconds, very very smooth!! I have not oiled it. I will leave any servicing to the buyer. It has a National sewing machine motor as shown. Must have had a different foot pedal as the one that came with it is a Singer bakelite, used mid century. The first time that I plugged in the motor, it just hummed. After taking a good look, you can see that the wiring is loose at the motor and if you move it, you can hear sparking. We have rewired lots of Singers but as with the servicing being left to the buyer, the matter of the motor wiring is also being left to the buyer. The metal label on the motor is black and I wonder if it has been painted? I actually did receive at the sale a very old foot pedal in the shape of a foot and I\'m thinking that might have been the original foot pedal. I am including it as well.The case is in amazing condition as well as the machine and accessories! It did not come with the original key but I had one that fit the lock and it is included as shown.These accessories were inside the case, they are Greist attachments but being inside the case, I will assume them to be for this National machine. They are in beautiful shiny condition and the inside of the purple lined case is in wonderful condition as well! If you have any questions, just email and I\'ll answer the best that I can.
