Up for offer is a #110 Hafner Wind Up Steam Locomotive. This engine
was made by the Hafner Manufacturing Company. Per the guide book
this engine was made from the late 1920’s to the early 1930’s. The engine
is 6 inches long not including the tender, 10 inches long with tender, 3
inches high and 1 1/2 inches wide. It’s in good condition however I
can’t get it to run. The spring and interior mechanism okay but the
spring is tightly wound and I can’t get it to release. Since I owned the
engine I have never run it and it has been sitting on a shelf for the last
30 years as a display piece! It comes with a winding key. I am not an
expert on older, pre-war toy trains, I have collected mostly post-war
Lionel trains. I try to list the early trains based upon information that I
have gathered from guide books.I don’t make any profit on shipping and if the shipping cost runs more
than stated, I’ll cover it. But if the shipping runs less, I will refund the
money to the buyer. Be sure to review the pictures before offerding.
