You are offerding on the very rare Mettlach Hausmann\'s Brewery beer stein or mug pictured. This Madison, Wisconsin brewery went out of business in about 1920, per an internet search.
The stein is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips. The glaze is nice and NOT crazy cracked.
The logo has great color and graphics. Use the magnifying function to get a great look at the condition. There are a couple of tiny dark spots here and there, mostly on the backside and handle. The handle looks as if it was fired a slight bit crooked. As youcan see in the photo, there is a slight curve to it, with the upper part attached to the mug a bit to the left of wherethe bottom part is attached. Perhaps this is common or intended.
According to the mark near the lip, it\'s a 4/10L mug.
High offer will pay $10 for Priority Shipping. I will insure it for a proper amount and will pay that extra cost myself.
Have fun and offer with confidence as I don\'t end sales early and please don\'t ask.
I seldom re-list the same item if I don\'t get any offers.
I only ship to the lower 48 states. I may ship to Hawaii or Alaska if you ask in advance andunderstand you will pay actual shipping.
Free local pick up is always welcome.
Wisconsin residents will add 5% sales tax. Sorry! But I do pay it.
Please ask questions well in advance of the end of my sale. I don\'t have a smart phone and can only check my computer so often in a day.
Thanks!
