Hickok Model 538A Tube Tester, for Restoration, Complete less Lid For Sale

You are offerding on a Hickok model 538A Tube Tester. It is missing the top cover, but otherwise appears to be complete and restorable. I tried to test a few tubes, but was confused by both meters advancing when setting the AC line current, so I was not getting enough voltage to properly light the filaments. The fuse, and short lights work, the filaments would light, and both meters are good, so there should not be a big problem in restoring this. Inside, I noted that both the 83 and 5Y3 tubes lit, and there are two 6H6s which I assume are for the VTVM which is built into this model. I am not aware of any modifications. It has leads for the VTVM. The power cord is brittle and should be replaced, and the tube chart rolls very roughly, so it needs lubrication. The tester measures roughly 17 by 18 1/2 by 7 inches in size not counting the handle and feet. I believe after cleaning and restoration, this will be a quality useable tester.
