Hickok Model 752 Tube Tester For Sale

Here is a Hickok Model 752 Tube Tester up for sale. What is in the pictures isall there is. Thereare no manuals or other parts included. Howeverit appears that all of the operating controls, knobs, switches etc. are all there and undamaged.The power cord is complete and undamaged but issomewhat stiff and the insulation is beginning to show signs of age cracking. I have not tried to apply power to the unit socannot say what itsoperating condition really is. That being said, I carefully removed the control panel from the case for a look inside and all of the electronicsappear complete,undamaged and unmolested. There are no signs ofoverheating nor any electricalburning smell. The control panel is in excellent condition. The tubedata scroll thumb-wheels are undamaged and work properly. The case is made of wood and is solid and sound. The black cloth covering has several scuffs and scrapes.The top latches and carrying handle mounts show no rust. Judging from thelabels on the outside and inside of the tester this unit may have originally been a government/military item.Study the photos, and good luck offerding on this vintageelectronic tube tester.I will ship to the lower 48 states by FEDEX ground.

It\'s been suggested that I plug the tube tester in and see if the pilot lights come on. I did so andturned the power switch on and the meter and tube data scrollwindows lit up. Nothing else happened, no hums, no smoke. So I would assume that there are no electrical problems with this unit.

I was asked to check the meter for movement. I plugged it in again, turned on the power, and pushed the \"line adj.\" S10 button, and the meter swung to the mid \"line test\" position. Hope this helps.
