Here is a superb old pipe axe tomahawk in excellent condition. The pipe originates from the Great Lakes people and has an old Hudson\'s Bay Company forged iron trade head with a circular eye. The ash haft has many decorations including old brass tacks, wire wrapped areas, and a shoulder for attaching a beaded drop. This historic pipe is in its original condition with no cleaning or restoration of any kind. All hand made and shaped. Good original natural patina. Circa 1840. A great find!
