English / American Antique Mahogany & Brass Plate CameraAn early, rare & interesting plate camera of unknown manufacture, which may be of interest to collectors.The camera is fitted with a Bausch & Lomb lens which looks incomplete to me but seems to operate perfectly at varying aperture / time settings. The lens / shutter is also marked, ''Blair Camera Company '' perhaps making this an early Blair camera.The green leather bellows appear to be intact, the mahogany body nicely made with brass fittings and recessed thumb wheels.Requiring a replacement rear ground glass screen. The glass size being 4 1/4'' x 4 3/4'' (107mm x 122mm).Here for sale with a low start price and as usual, without reserve.Do ask questions as required and do please see my other antique art & items of interest.
