Iconic Realtone TR 803 Valiant “BLADES” Micro Transistor Radio in Original BoxNR For Sale

Here for your consideration is a wonderful Realtone TR 803 Valiant “BLADES” Micro 7 Transistor Radio in its Original Box from 1958. This is surely one of the TOP 10 transistor radios of all times, and this one is about as good as it gets! This petite 3 ¼” x 2.5” x 7/8” set is The Iconic Design Image of the Transistor Generation! The side blades are perfect, and do not appear on any other Transistor radio to my knowledge. The raised brass REALTONE adds to the beauty of the set, as does the round brass speaker grill. This 7 transistor radio has it all, and comes with its original box, presentation box, and leather case. The leather case appears almost new but is ripped in 2 places. The plastic in the top of the presentation case is broken but could be repaired if you wish. This is the most fragile transistor radio I am aware of, and I have never seen a perfect one. This set is about as good as it gets, and has the following issues: two 1/16’ hairlines on top by blades, chip and hairlines on bottom, and a hairline in the center of the back. It sounds worst than it is, as I have only seen one better in my life, and it had no box. The radio gets static, but I did not receive any stations. I’ll let you play with it.
