I bought a Bear 76er about 3 weeks ago and found it to be an excellent vintage takedown bow. I liked it so much I just bought a second one. I understand that thousands of these bows were produced and enjoyed by many. It will fit my target shooting and best of all with proper arrows and broadheads the 76er can also be used for hunting. It's well made and allows for easy storage and transport since the breakdown size can fit in a small pack.

The Bear 76'er I bought was exactly as I remembered it from my youth, light and comfortable in the hand, smooth draw to my draw length and shoots well, considering it's age! There is a little sloppyness in the point where the limbs fit into the riser, but this was fixed with a very thin piece of leather, overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
They are good factory limbs and worth the price. Smooth drawing on a B riser and seem to be fast. The Bear TD system is quick and convenient but the tolerances are not as precise nor the cosmetics as nice as custom work. I do like shooting the bow and have no regrets.
