The "Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Lionel NYC Train set" is an established high quality manufactured ornament for hanging on a tree or for display. Gather enough of these locomotives and cars together and you can create your own 20th Century Limited passenger train or other name train for display. Great fun, and they are small, but nicely scaled down from the original Lionel electric train models of the late 1940's and early 1950's. The locomotives are true to the original but the full size version of the passenger cars were never painted in NYC colors by Lionel - but the cars are beautiful matching what-ifs.
