The Roku interface for all devices uses old keyboard entry that is needed for set-up. Other features are as advertised and it is so economical I can't kick. The basic Roku unit is only good when used close to the wifi router. It is worth the difference to up-grade to this unit and other stick models with the voice remote.

The ROKU Streaming Stick 3800R is a wonderful item. It allows you to stream a variety of television programs and movies for free and by several reasonable priced services. The remote is well-designed and easy to use. The voice-activation allows you to find movies and programs easily. Unfortunately, the unit I was sent had a defective power supply, and was thus unusable.

The ROKU Streaming Stick is an amazing TV add-on and it works so well I bought 6 and installed them on every TV in my home, even my smart TV’s. By combining the ROKU with a Mohu Leaf air antenna, mounted in my attic, we’re able to have a very large selection of channels on all our TV’s. Streaming movies is a breeze and the Streaming Stick is easy to install and operate. I did have to buy a Streaming Stick PLUS for the TV located farthest from my Wi-Fi, because the standard stick kept dropping the signal. The SS Plus works great and eliminated that problem. I highly recommend the ROKU for a superior, easy to use streaming device.

I really dig how I can control the TV with this little remote instead of having to switch between a TV remote and the ROKU remote. Great added feature.
