I've title this "Nice Chime For The Money" because I bought it for the chime. But, as a matter of fact, the clock itself is actually very attractive, and nice. I didn't really need a clock, but this is an attractive and pretty good quality clock for the $$$ My son thinks the chime sounds "Nintendo-ish" but I like it. It sounds more like a clock chime on low volume, which is loud enough. You really can't go wrong for the price.
