Has all the features I was looking for in a DVD player - just a simple player, no blu-ray or 3D, at a great price. Nice looking, slim and compact;I can stack it with my satellite receiver. I especially like the sleek silver color. Only problem I have an older TV and can't connect it to the TV through my sat receiver. That's just a small problem though bc I plan on getting an HDTV this week.
This dvd player works great!Set up was quick, and the instructions were very easy to follow.The profile of the unit is very thin and stackable.This is the first hd dvd player I have purchased and am considering buying more.
Alot of people say it doesn't make a difference if these up convert. They are WRONG! The best picture of any dvd player I've owned (Which is at least 10 different ones). Movies don't have that pixel problem alot of standard dvd players have.
I bout this player because you can enter a 4 digit code to make it output high-def through the component cables. They don't make dvd players that can do this because of copyright issues. This was a steal because now I can watch HD on my projector instead of just Pscan.
Good dvd player for use with hdmi cable and opticl. But has no black level adjustment! The end result is you cain't see the movie or it's very dark. So you have to watch in 480 instead of 720 or 1080.
