We've had rokus since they came out. Currently have 4 in the house plus a tv. This is the WORST remote I've ever held. Skinny, flimsy and the buttons don't activate properly or smoothly when pushed. Even my kid agrees. This remote will need replacement just to easily use it which then makes it no bargain for a refurbished product, might as well had just bought new. I can't imagine that this is the remote that shipped with the original product. Worst ever

It works well if you have a very strong wifi router or it is very close to the device. I upgraded by verizon wifi router to a netgear nighthawk 7000 and turned on 5g interface and now the device works very well.

They work well, but in Australia, Telstra has locked up the catch up TV stations on Roku, so it's worthless, no fault in the technology, Telstra TV works fine. But if you go with another internet service provider, on the NBN, it's useless.
