The BD-C 6800 is working very well. Hook up is a somewhat difficult if you have an older HD TV, say 6 years old. There is no HDMI connection on the TV, so hookup needs a tech to help you install. The unit itself is well designed, attractive and works very well. Would be better if the remote would be a lighted model, especially with night time usage. There are apps included with the unit, with many more available on line. I would suggest if you are looking to buy a blu ray, this is a good unit, and priced well, especially with WIFI included.
Having just bought a 51" Samsung 3D tv, I knew I wanted technology that complimented each other so I read a lot of reviews about Samsung players. A few things I want to point out about some of the people's criticisms. DVD players like cell phones are no longer just about playing discs quickly any more than the cell phone is about answering calls quickly. For me, I: Stream movies wirelessly from my computer on my terabyte hard drive flawlessly to my Samsung player. Or I put in a friends flashdrive and watch a recent download. I like streaming from Netflix, Vudu, or Youtube. Rarely it seems I even use the Blu Ray player. But when I put one in, it starts incredibly quickly and works flawlessly. A lot of the complaints of the past year have been addressed by Samsung and are resolved when you up date to the newest software level. DVD's can start off where you left off and Blu Ray's start incredibly quickly. There is a lot of versatility and control in the player. Say you are in Dolby Prologic II or Neo 6 with your receiver. This player will reformat its audio output to align perfect with that format. This does everything a $100 roku can do except you get a 3D blu ray player for free practically. But do not under estimate the damage that can happen in getting the product to you. If you get a dud, and you know that something is clearly not working (ie flash drive doesnt acknowledge, wont read remote, its slow or noisy) then contact the seller and try to return it. Dont get me wrong sometime's my player freezes having to load a 20 gig 3D blu ray movie, but I turn it off and back on and its fine. Its a great product, and with technology changing so quickly. This will put you ahead of the game, you wont have to replace it for the up and coming technology and will last you quite a long time.Read full review
Works well, good quality picture but the online choices are very limited and hard to access.

It's hard to rate a product that doesn't work 100% right out of the box. I am currently waiting for and e-mail from Samsung That was supposed to arrive within 24 hrs. with a downloadable fix. That was two days ago.As far as I'm conserned they should have shipped me a new unit and dealt with the crap they sent me on thier own time. This puchase was in addition to buying one of thier $2,000.00 3-D TV's. Pretty poor service if you ask me. I've always bought Sony but someone suggested Samsung. Can't remember who. Probably just as well.Hope you send this on to Samsung with my comp.
