Not the precision machinery you might buy for $300 but it is a very handy unit to have on yoiur drill press. Solidly built, good adjustment (v notches in the jaws would be handy). Quality is completely adequate - too bad I couldn't rate it 'yes' or 'no' - but it isn't top notch. Mine needed lubrication to work smoothly but now I use it for most drilling.

This is not a high end machine vise, I needed it for balsa, plastic, and some soft metals. The cost should give you a hint to the tolerances you can hold with this vise. Need a cheap vise to convert your drill press into a milling machine, this is it.
