People complained the volume was not very loud, this is true if you are sitting far away. But in a RV, it is just fine. Some claim the DVD was noisy, I do not hear mine at all. Played movies just fine. Did not try home made movies, but would think it would not be a problem. I had no problem with the picture from a side angle, there is a noticeable difference, but nothing that can not be lived with. Only problem I had was remote did not work out of the box, the seller shipped a new one, and all is fine. Keep in mind, if the remote fails in the future, a universal remote will not work. This is also stated on their web site. You will have to buy a new one from them, or EBay.

The TV with DVD player combination is just what we needed for our camper & the space we had to put it. The controls on the remote are a little confusing to operate, but I am learning to operate it. I first only pulled in 1 channel with the antenna that we had, but a new antenna pulls in 7 channels now when we do a channel scan.

We use this as a TV/DVD Player / Computer monitor in Class B motorhome. Low power consumption allows it to run off auxiliary battery for long periods. Tuner works well with a small onboard antenna.
