I purchased this movie for a teenagers birthday , who loves movies and who has all the newest releases as soon as they come in stores ,and I know that she has not seen this one and she is sure to enjoy it as I did when I was younger.It was new and sealed so how could I dislike it? The price was reasonable for a gift.These older movies are great gifts for the kids who are harder to buy for when they seem to have everything nowadays!!
It was an excellent movie then and it is now. The story is great for young and old. It's a great way to teach young children that not all aliens are scary. I have seen this movie to many times to count. With my own children and now my grandchildren they will be sure to want to watch it again and again. A must for any movie collection.

This is one of the greatest movies ever made, as a matter of fact, my daughters class put this tape in a time casule them made in school.. you just can't help but love all the charaters in this movie.. you will need a few tissues but it all works out in th end..
