One of the brass screws has been replaced with a silver-colored screw on the back. No cracks to glass face. However, around the perimeter of the glass is about a 1/4" haze or opacity to the glass's edge, which is on the backside of the glass, which might be eliminated by cleaning. (Note: I have not tried to clean the clock.). Pull-out ring to position the clock on a flat surface works well and holds its position.”
