Ives 3243 Orange Electric Standard Gauge-Original Paint- Runs and lights For Sale

Up for consideration is another favorite loco of mine. This is an orange 3243 a really big electric. It is all original and you can see the paint is flaking. Someone who had it put varnish or shellac over the paint to prevent more from coming off. The motor runs and bulbs light. If you have trouble getting this motor running, the culprit will probably be the "live brush" (one goes to ground the other to power (live)). it will go out of adjustment. From the time I put it away until I took pictures of it I had to adjust that brush. Once that is done, it runs like a banchee.This is a personal collection. If you've been following my sales you will know we're going into retirment so my wife has asked me to get things cleaned up. I want everyone to be happy with what they bought. I am NOT and will NOT hide anything. It isn't worth the 5 or 10 extra bucks that someone would offer and then not be happy. That's why I start everything at a buck or there abouts.
