Incredible iconic shot of the flag raising on Mt. Suribachi in Iwo Jima, 1945 by Joe Rosenthal.
One of the most famous photographs of all time and won Rosenthal the Pulitzer Prize in 1946.Condition: Excellent image quality with dings, creases, ares of smudges, discoloration and stains. Traces of ink and grease pencil marks on the surface. Creases and small tears along the edges and in the corners. Emulsion damage along edges and creases. (Please see scans for further information.)
