Beautiful and very elegant pendant by the renowned
Norwegian silversmiths Frank and Regine Juhls, Kautokeino.This particular piece is the model 668, from the popular TUNDRA range,
which was first exhibited at the EXPO ’67 during the Montreal World’s Fair,
where together with Tone Vigeland, Regine Juhls was chosen to represent
Norway’s innovative and quite exceptional jewellery creations.The pendant has a tactile, organic shape with intricately sculptured ridges,
abstract squares, plateaus and tiny craters, resembling a volcanic landscape.The long and gracefully curved jump link and a small silver dangle provide
an interesting contrast, completing this interesting design.Excellently crafted and detailed work - this stylish jewellery is very collectable
and costly - the pendant is currently listed with a retail price of Norwegian
KR996 (£75, $114, €107) in the online Juhls Silver Gallery Shop.
