Kodak Stereo Hawk-eye Model 6 with Red Bellows - C-2779: $510.00
If you\'ve ever wondered how those stereograph cards come into being, here\'s a camera that starts the process. It is a Kodak Stereo Hawkeye Model 6 that was manufactured 1912 to 1913. This model has red bellows that are still supple after more than a hundred years. It appears to be in pretty good condition mechanically, as far as I can tell. It is a neat, neat camera that I think you will be proud to own. Please note that there is a reserve on this item. On the bright side, shipping is FREE in the United States. The camera is in mostly good condition for its age. The mechanics appear to be working nicely. The leather bellows has one small hole where the elevation knob makes contact. It does not appear to let in light. The closing latch is broken. The brass face has some discoloration, Shutter, aperture, speed controls work, although one is a little slow at times. The bellows pull out nicely, although they sometimes catch when folding back in. On the back is a typewritten list cemented on, probably by the original owner. Lenses look dusty, but are not cloudy. Wood has one circle like a cup ring. Cover is intact, but slightly worn in places. The back removes easily when you use the latch. The inside of the camera looks clean. There are no musty or off odors. See pictures.Feel free to ask me any questions regarding this item. Thanks for looking and Happy offerding.
