Late 1930's Antique Wood Zenith Vintage Tube Radio - Race Track Dial
This was obtained at an estate sale. I don't know much about old radios, but I plugged it in and it seemed to work fine. The panel light illuminated and I was able to tune in stations. It has short wave and regular station selector buttons.
Doing some research, this was apparently one of Zenith's most sough after radios, referred to as the "Racetrack" because of it's unusual sleek shape with wrap around grill and styled wood. The dial is really classic.
Please see pics for the condition of the wood case. It does have some scuffs and a bit of scaling, which could be restored, nothing seems to be missing. The back is open, and I'm not sure if it once had some sort of rear cover, probably not.
The radio is really heavy and would be shipped in a large box with lots of packing cushion. Please allow me to invoice you afterwards to get a better shipping estimate. The quote here is an estimate for middle USA, and shipping could be less or more. Insurance depends on final offer price.
