LCT Favrile Tiffany 1701 Blue Opalescent Stretch Rim Compote with Vaseline Stem For Sale

LCT Favrile Tiffany 1701 Blue & Opalescent Stretch Rim Compote with what I would call a Vaseline color down the stem into the base. The compote is4 1/2\" tall , The diameter across the top is 5 1/2\",The diameter of the base is 3\". The stem is 3\" tall from the base to the underside of the bowl portion. Marks on the base near the center of bottom include L.C.T., 1701, and Favrile. I believe the pattern is called Feather and Laurel. Super Condition as seen in the photos. This will be bubble wrapped and very well packaged.

PLEASE NOTE: I HAD A QUESTION FROM A buyer ABOUT TESTING THE PIECE UNDER A BLACK LIGHT TO SEE IF IT GLOWS. I PURCHASED A 60 WATT BLACK LIGHT BULB AND TESTED IN A DARK ROOM AND THE COMPOTE DID NOT GLOW UNDER THE BLACK LIGHT. SO HOPEFULLYTHE QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED. IN THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION WHICH I CANNOT ALTER, I NOTED THE COLOR OF THE STEM TO BE A VASELINE COLOR, (WHICH TO ME IS JUST THAT.... A PALE LIMEY GREENISH COLOR THAT MOST OLDER VASELINE GLASS LOOKS LIKE WHEN NOT USING A BLACK LIGHT. I EXPECTED THIS PIECE TO GLOW WHEN I PUT THE BLACK LIGHT TO IT, BUT IT DIDN\'T GLOW THE WAY I WOULD EXPECT ANY TYPE OF VASELINE TO GLOW. NEITHER THE BRIGHT GLOWING YELLOWISH GREEN ON OLDER VASELINE PIECESOR THAT WEIRD NEW BRIGHT ALMOST \"TOXIC GREEN SLIME\" COLOR ON NEW VASELINE PIECES. DIFFERENT MONITORS CAN SHOW COLORS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT, HENCE THE REASON I NOTED THE STEM COLOR IN THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION. I\'ve answered several questions asking if there any chips on the piece. I have looked under a magnifying glass, felt with my fingers and can find nothing. The only thing you may see in the photos could be in the top portion.... there seems to be a blue dot in the bottom portion of the bowl, this is color but not a chip. There is a small \"dot\" in the clear section of the top portion maybe about the size of a pinhole but that would be an issue in the making of the piece and not a chip or damage of any type that I can imagine could just get there..... I have felt along the edges of the compote and I cannot feel or see any chips on the top side or bottom side. Any variations you may see visible, I assume, would be nothing but issues in the making of the piece. If any of these issues are a concern, or you believe differently please feel free to retract your offer. This simply is a beautiful piece. Hopefully this puts the question to rest.
