LEICA LEITZ 50mm SUMMICRON 50/2 LTM Lens #1302476 1955 L39+Bubble Tested A++ Here we have a very early Leica collapsible Summicron lens for LTM leica thread mount. As you can see in the detailed images below the lens is in superb cosmetic condition for its age showing few real signs of use and no damage. Functionally the lens is also very good, focus is smooth and accurate, the aperture blades are clean and stop down smoothly, and the lens glass is in very good clean condition: there are no scratches, haze, fungus or speration visible to the naked eye. The view through the glass is clear and except for the odd fleck of dust very clean. Furthermore the lens has been tested on a Leica digital M240 camera (with an M mount adaptor ring). The sample images and crops included here were taken using this lens. As you can see it produces lovely images, sharp yet with soft out of focus areas that look a little dreamy. Stopped down the lens is very sharp. Can be used on Leica LTM mount , M mount cameras and other digital cameras with adaptor rings. The lens comes with its bubble case (no lens caps). As you can see the case shows its age but still protects the lens well. Hard to find one of these acre mount thread Summicrons in such fine cosmetic and functional condition. Will not dissappoint.
