The item up for offer is an LGB 2-6-0 Mogul Type SteamLocomotivein Denver &RioGrande Livery, Model # 21181. I am the original owner of this locomotive and give it a rating of very good condition. It has run on my outdoor layouts, but has been stored indoors in its original styrofoam packaging. I have replaced the original balloon smokestack with a metal straight stack and the simulated tender wood bunker with a simulated coal bunker. The coal bunker was painted a dark green that is very close match. The is a small round valve handle that was on the pilot that has broken off. The fireman\'s scoop is also missing.
I have replaced the idler gears in the gearbox several years ago and they have little run time. I have installed Kadee G scale \"E Type\" couplers on both the tender and locomotive pilot. The pilot is a 791 pilot pocket with a 901 center set coupler and the tender is a 906 (standard 830 gearbox) coupler. There are external battery power leads wired in to the rear of the tender.
The locomotive\'s original inner styrofoam and outercardboardbox packaging isincludedin the sale. The outer cardboard box and styrofoam do have some shelf/storage wear as well as black ink markings on the styrofoam. I willalsoincluded the original manual that came with the locmotive.

The locomotive has not been fully converted for battery power. All track power pick ups, sliders and wheel wipers, are all in place and serviceable. The tender rear leads are wired to carry current directly to the motor.
