LGB 2319S Colorado & Southern Steam Locomotive #8 and Tender with Box

Excellent Condition

This sale is for a Lehmann Gross Bahn (The Big train) #23192 C&S 2-6-0 Mogul. This American Style loco and tender set is in excellent condition. I did not notice any damaged or missing parts. It comes with its original box(with foam inserts), instruction manual, customization stickers, and a small tube of smoke fluid.

I\'m having to do a little thinning out of my collection and this nice loco set is in need of a good home.I purchased this locomotive off of , a couple of years ago, and ran it a couple of times around my layout to verify that it operated smoothly. Since then it has sat on display in my office at work. The electronic sound, the firebox, and both lights are functioning properly. The loco is also equipped with smoke, but I did not test it.

This is a classic US narrow gauge locomotive modeled as it operated in the Rocky Mountains of the American West for many years. At the front of the loco is a removeable snowplow. The smoke stack has a smoke generator and a distinctive spark catcher, known as a \"bear trap\". The large lanterns shine with constant intensity no matter what the speed and automatically switch according to direction.

The fully equiped cab includes an engineer watching through the open fire box door at a flickering \"fire\". A three-way switch in the cab has positions for: all power off, power to the lights and smoke generator only, or power to the lights, smoke generator, and motor. Smooth operation is the result of power connections via four locomotive wheels, four tender wheels, and two pick-up shoes. The center set of loco wheels has a spring suspension for reliable running.

The four-axle tender has detailed trucks and a coal box with stoker figure. The volume control and on/off switch for the sound system are mounted under the tender, which is connected to the loco by a socketed cable. A 9VDC battery is included.

Technical Features include:Automatic directional lighting
Smoke generator
Simulated flickering fire in the firebox
LGB electronic sound system with bell and whistle sounds, which can be automatically activated, using LGB 17050 track contacts(not included)
Made in Germany
A set of stickers is included, for easy customization, should you not want the C&S livery. Other road names include: Denver & Rio Grande, D.&.R.G.W., and Pennsylvania.
The locomotive and tender measure a little over 26 inches in length.

This extremely nice locomotive set will be shipped in its original manufacturer\'s box, which in turn will be placed inside of a shipping box for additional protection. The manufacturer\'s box does has a small area of damage on it(see the photos). The chains at the front of the loco have been removed for shipping. They are included in a small bag and are easy to re-attach.
