Poster Size
This sale is for a lightbox that will fit any standard sized movie poster sized 27X40. When buying a movie posters, always choose an original DOUBLE SIDED movie poster. These light the best and are also collectible and appreciate in value. Ask for our movie poster list when ordering.
Frame Dimensions
The frame is roughly 28 1/2 inches wide, 41 1/2 inches long, and only 4 inches deep. This is the slimmest model that you will find and all components are UL listed. This unit is built for appearance as well as function with no ugly screws or hardware. Unless you know how it opens, your friends and family will think that it is all one enclosed unit.
Lighting INCHES DEEP.
We use four 36 inch fluorescent lights that are more than enough to illuminate your poster. At the same time, this is a cool running lightbox that will not damage or pucker posters due to carefully placed vents. We offer options to ensure that you get the lightbox that fits your needs.
Cord Placement
Upon sale closing, we have three options for your lightbox. A cord can hang from below, cord can be internal for a wall outlet, or wires can be left bare for hardwiring.
Glass
A special light diffusing acrylic backing and a front acrylic lining protect your poster from light damage and the elements. The poster is sandwiched between these two pieces without the use of tape or velcro. Our tight fit assures no sagging in the poster as well. NO LIGHT SPILLING FROM THE EDGES OR FROM BEHIND. Watch for other lightboxes with holes that will spill light when dark. We use acrylic that is free from blemishes and that holds its shape. Most use 1/16 inch thich acrylic, we use 1/8 thick on both that back and the front panel. It is a more expensive material, but it lasts lifetimes and resists crack and NO WARPING!
Poster Loading
Our lightboxes are completely seamless from the outside. No ugly hinges and NO TOOLS NEEDED to remove and add posters. Using our spring loaded system, you will always have a tight fit for your poster. This is a lightbox that you will have for the rest of your life.
Appearance
Our lightboxes are designed and finished to be a proud addition to your home entertainment center or office. Each features a smooth wooden finished matte satin black exterior. We also work with hardwoods for a finished lightbox that is great for the office or other formal rooms. We light single sided posters, lithographs, mylars, as well as photographs.
