In 1954 Union Pacific Railroad took delivery of 25 GTEL-4500 class Gas Turbine Locomotives numbered #61-75. These 4,500 HP locomotives were called Veranda Turbines with the exterior exposed walk way on the side of the locos.
Lionel introduced a fine model of these Union Pacificlocomotives years ago, with factory sound.

The locomotive and tender come in the original box with foam.Two corners of the (top left and top right)carton have separated and have been repaired with clear tape inside the carton. Please see photo of one corner as example.
