This isa Lionel Pre-War No. 912 \"Suburban Home,\" or \"Illuminated Home\" Landscaped \"Plot,\" Circa 1930\'s. I believe this piece to be all or mostly all original, but the house looks SO good, can it be? The landscaped plot measures approx. 16\" x 8\" and is, I believe, made of masonite or something similar. The house is all metal. The wires for the light are crumbling from age. The trees, lawns & shrubs are in amazingly good condition and appear to be all original, which is what leads me tobelieve that the house is original as well. The box label is torn, but I believe that this box was for a No. 910 \"Grove of Trees,\" which would be the exact same size box. Could have been mixed up at the department or toy store when new, who knows? This is the way I found this piece. All that said, I make NO GUARANTEES as to the originality of this item. I have only ever owned two or three of these in the past, and all of those were in horrible condition, so I really don\'t know these things that well. If it means anything at all, this thing LOOKS original to me, but I ask that you look the photos over carefully and judge for yourself. Shipping charges to AK or HI may be higher, please ask. I try to offer buyers at least two shipping choices--MOST OF THE TIME, usually USPS Priority Mail and USPS Parcel Select.
