Lot approx 900 Vintage Original 1940s-1950s KODACHROME RED BORDER 35mm Slides Photos from a variety of garage sale type sources. Typical subject matter: people, travel, scenery, etc. Most are good quality, but some will have poor focus/exposure or other issues which may make them less interesting. There are no duplicate/souvenir type slides in this lot- they are all original/amateur photos.

Unless otherwise noted, this is an original, vintage, one-off, unseen image(s). My \" - peahix\" watermark does not appear on the actual image(s). Please disregard any number in parentheses at the beginning of the title- it\'s for my filing purposes, and does not indicate any quantity. I will not sell or distribute any unwatermarked copy of this image(s) to anyone but the winning buyer. Sorry, I will not respond to requests for copies of the image(s), or requests to pass along messages to the winning buyer. This is a low resolution scan- a higher res scan will reveal more detail in the photo(s). The image(s) will also benefit from a good cleaning/dusting, which I have not done. If it\'s a faded color image, you may also have some luck restoring the original color balance that has faded to red/blue by using your scanner\'s color correction, or by using image editing software. In some cases, I\'ve done a quick color adjustment on my preview scans to correct for red or blue tinted images. All my slides/photos/negatives come from garage/estate sales and similar secondhand sources, so in most cases I do not know the identity of the photographer, and often that person is deceased. While I cannot personally claim or confer copyright on these images, I consider them to be orphaned works, therefore it\'s my opinion that you\'re likely very safe to do with them as you wish.

Local pickup for large/fragile/valuable items is always welcome. If you inform me that you intend to pick the item up in person, I will request cash payment. For small/non-fragile items of minimal value, I prefer to ship even if you are local. Please be aware that I often use recycled packaging materials when safe and available, so your item may not arrive in a brand new box/package, but it will be safely packaged nonetheless.Email contact from winning buyer must be made within 4 days of the end of the sale.
