Superb condition example of the top of the range model of this falling plate magazine camera.
Glorious mahogany and brass interior.
Fine external leather which, although it has a few minor scuffs, largely retains the original shine suggesting little use and no latter-day attempts to make it look better using boot polish!
Complete with a full compliment of plate holders all of which are loaded with plates.
F6 Aldis Anastigmat lens which is clear and bright with no fungus or scratches.
Automat shutter which is generally OK but sticking on the slow speeds. A simple clean of the piston and cylinder should sort this out. Will be easy to do as the shutter and lens-board can be removed from the camera.
Has a yellow filter in a holder on the base of the front and the lens-cap is (unusually!) present.
Retailer\'s disc on the front reading \'Westminster Photographic Exchange 119 Victoria St.SW\'
All in all a fabulous collectible which is a time-warp item. It is easy to imagine that this is very nearly the same as it was 100 years ago when the owner had loaded it for a photographic expedition, put it in a cupboard but then forgot about it.POSTING: The full load of plates will take the parcel over the 2kg mark which will make postage expensive. Please contact me for quotes. The prices given are for posting with the plates removed.
