MARANTZ 2270-----REPAIR SERVICE-----BENCH DIAGNOSTIC:
$129.95

NOTICE----NOTICE----READ THIS FIRST!!!!! This listing is for repair service on your piece of equipment. You must send it in or drop it off for service. Instructions for packing and shipping will be found below. The pictures in the listing are examples and are NOT FOR SALE.

You are the proud owner of a lovely Marantz 2270. You love the look of it and the sound of it, but you know that it is old and that it doesn’t give you what used to, or what it could. Or perhaps it is altogether broken and you don’t have any idea what it takes to make it go and go well. You took it to a local shop and you got the blank stare so you know you need somebody to look at your beloved stereo who actually knows what it is. You are in luck. That is exactly what this listing is all about.

If the baby doesn’t play at all, or if you would like a complete evaluation with recommendations before you commit, then this is the listing for you. Purchase this listing and skip to the bottom where I tell you how to pack it. Your purchase will show up in my inbox, I will book you into my in house database, and will send you a receipt and an instruction sheet with my shipping address…….essentially everything you need to know to get it headed my way. Once it gets here, I will check it out and get back to you with its life story and will tell you what your options are, what the cost is, and answer any questions you may have. Once you have approved, it goes into the line for completion.

If you would like to have an idea as to what your baby might need to come back to you in first class condition, send me a message with a description of what it is doing, or not doing, and I will give you my best educated guess. I can usually tell you quite a bit up front as these guys have a pretty established track record. If you have other questions, such as turn around time, feel free to inquire. I have worked on mainline stereo equipment since 1971 so I will be familiar with whatever you have and will be glad to help you with it.

I pack a lot of stuff. I have good success with my packing and encourage you to do it this way. First is the bubble wrap. Use the larger bubble in 24 inch widths. Wrap the unit four times, turning it each time so you get the long way and then the short way. This gives you good overlap. Tape it tightly. It should be like a cocoon. The unit then goes into the inner box, fill voids with additional bubble wrap or peanuts. The inner box goes into the outer box with packing peanuts in between. Be sure to put in enough peanuts so the inner box will not move around in transit. Tape well, insure the package. Ship prepaid to:

Circle Stereo

Dripping Springs, TX 78620

About Shipping: Feel free to ship your unit to me for service. The listing says “local pickup” to accommodate those who are local and wish to drop off and pick up the unit. If you wish to ship your unit in, check the packing instructions in this listing. Quality packing is insurance against damage. The cost of return shipping depends upon package weight and dimensions and is precisely determined at the end of the process. If you would like an estimate of your return shipping cost, message me your city and zip and of course the model number and I will help. If you purchase this listing and are unsure of how to pack the unit, I can give you phone instructions.

Inner box…………20x20x12

Outer boxes should be heavy duty, double corrugated is greatly preferred. The boxes often come as cubes and need to be sized down, the box sellers or I can tell you how this is done. Thanks, Bill
